Who is Mr Rib:

I am Michael Schuchardt; born in Germany and moved to Cape Town 2001 . I am Computer Programmer. Worked as a programmer for Spar (Supermarket) and Wal-Mart (Headoffice Frankfurt). After Wal-Mart, I founded Logoversand.

Logoversand, Germany's first Logo and Ringtone Service over 0190Nr. The Company grew and expanded to Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Spain, Italy and Turkey.
On one of my Holidays in 2001 I fell in love with South Africa and decided to stay and moved to Cape Town. In South Africa I founded Catwalk TV (SA’s biggest Internet Cafes) 2001-2007, Wireless Online together with my Friend William (2003-2005) and now I have came back to my passion!
Cooking good Food!
I spent over 2 Years testing, refining and creating the Mr Rib menu and concept.

What does Mr Rib stand for:

I like food! But didn't understand, why fast food had to be less tasty and on a lower quality level!

Problem solved!

With Mr Rib you get restaurant quality food (sometimes better! :->) for a fair price… but fast!
We will not be as fast as MacCompetition, but we also don't want to. Every single dish is freshly prepared and will not stand under a warm light for 5-20 minutes!

Where are we going:

We are now looking for Franchises to open Mr Rib Restaurant in the areas:
Phase1:
Table View, Gardens, Camps Bay, Sea Point, Kenilworth, Durbanville
Phase2:
Hout Bay, Fish Hoek, Muizenberg, Stellenbosch and Somerset West.

Franchise (Fast Food)

The Cost of a Mr Rib Shop R350.000 - R650.000 depense on the size and condition of the premeses. We setup the location key ready. That means, we even supply the first Stock and even the first change in the Till is organised.
You need an aditional R100.000 - R150.000 for Deposit, Rent and the first few month Cost and startup Promotion.
We train you and your Staff for at least 2 Full Week and help you with your promotion of the new adventure.

 

Franchise (Steak Ranch)
to the end of 2012 we will open the 1st Mr Rib Steak Ranch. The Cost will be ~800.000 - 1.300.000 but only Franchises with solid knowledge in the Food Industry (hands on!) will be able to apply!

You don't have a lot of space to implement your own idears and taste! Idears from Franchises are welcome and help us to get better. But you have to realise, that Mr Rib is run with strickt Rules of food prearation, quality and hygene to gurantie the best quality to our customer. Every Franchise has to respect and has to take care of all rules and regulation of the Mr Rib Brand.
